Etsy Love

I love ETSY! I have spent the past few Sundays on it all day!
I have looked at almost everything on there.
I really want a turquoise headboard and this hot air balloon necklace and this old camera. I just love all of these homemade treasures!

Modern day Shakespeare

One of the few things I love about coming home for the summer is the numerous outdoor Shakespeare plays in the area.
I have been going to them since we moved here in 96. I have always enjoyed them, even when I was too young to understand exactly what they were saying. My favorite play for a while was the Taming of the Shrew. (Robbie even asked my Dad if the Shrew was based on me.....I can be rather difficult and stubborn)

Tonight we went to The Two Gentleman of Verona that was set in the 1970's and was a musical. It was weird.
Generally, I do not like Shakespeare that is set in modern times.
I did really LOVE Baylor's Macbeth earlier this year. It worked VERY well.

ps. Erica is back from Africa! I really just missed her too dang much. Texting her really makes my day.

Summer Movies

I have seen a lot of very amazing movies so far this summer. Really this past week.
I love more than anything that Ben and Jeff LOVE watching movies and tv- because I LOVE LOVE LOVE to do just that. (Jeff and I spent 2 whole days just watching Arrested Development, and snuggling and being goofy)

Toy Story 3 was so great. It brought back a lot of childhood memories for me, and made me think of all the games I played and all of my toys. I thought it was a sweeter movie rather than a funny one.

Bloom Brothers is out on video now, but was nonetheless a phenomenal movie. Adrian Brody and Mark Ruffalo made such a great pair. I liked that the whole time it kept you guessing.

Despicable Me was the funniest movie I have seen all year probably. I am a huge Steve Carrell fan, needless to say his outrageous Russian accent made me cry I laughed so hard. The little girls in it were also funny. I just came back from seeing it a second time, and I laughed harder the second time I saw it. I told my brother and aunt to see it, unfortunately they did not share the same sentiment for it, as I did. It was also a very sweet story.

Inception was just so freaking awesome. We sat in the front row, which is hard for me (cuz of my motion sickness) to see the screen if there is a lot of movement. The story was complex yet very original. I can't wait to see it again, and try to understand more of it. The ending was perfect, because it keeps you guessing. DiCaprio did a great job. I also loved Joseph Gorden-Levitt and Ellen Page, they are two actors I enjoy a lot and have wished they were in more movies, so I am glad to see they were cast in this. Marion Cotillard, who I think may be one of the most classy ladies in Hollywood, is always great. Her French accent is very sexy.

haha so this was more of a quick movie review.

also Happy Ice Cream Day! I (of coarse) celebrated with some lemon and raspberry sorbet.

I love you like Captain Planet villians love polluting

I am a better person because of my darling boyfriend.
He is such an incredible person.
I feel like I am transforming into a more patient, more generous, kinder, more thoughtful, and a more respectful person.
He is a very good influence on me, and the people around me can tell something is different about me.

I pray that he continues to challenge me to be a better person.

ps. He was such a good sport when I was being a pain picking out what color to paint my room. He had nothing but patience for me. He deserves this shout out. =)

my favorite thing

Yesterday Jeff and I were just laying down relaxing, with my head on his shoulder and us holding hands. We fell asleep like that and slept for a while in that position. It was really very sweet.
It has been our favorite moment so far on this "vacation".

Also, I always seem to forget how handsome he is and how much I love him.

back in my new home for a week

This past week I have been hanging in my new home in Waco. It's awesome. I keep getting so excited that I am living with Erica and Selena!
I painted my room and bathroom. But I still need to settle in and buy furniture. I'm excited. I saw Erica's room and was like what the heck! it's so freaking cute! Maybe she will help me with mine.

I have also been spending the week with my two boys...Jeff and Ben. It's been soooo much fun. My two lovelies are so sweet. Jeff brought back lots of cool stories and pictures from Italy. I even got a some awesome presents from him! Being away from him really makes me appreciate him and our relationship. We really and very perfect for each other.

I tan soooo quickly and I love it. Im so dark and lovely. =)
Everyone in my family keeps telling me how tan I am.

Sadly, I am a bit burnt though, I suck at putting on sunscreen.
